Samuel Zwemer pioneered modern mission work, at turn of the twentieth century missionary, in the spiritually and vegetatively barren land of Arabia, procuring only about twelve direct converts in over forty years of service. But it was his perseverance, availability, and boldness that launched modern Arabian mission work and exposed thousands of Muslims to the gospel.

Isobel Kuhn is one of my heroes of faith.  By searching after the Lord, she found peace and the true meaning of life.  She became wholly devoted and sacrificed much to bring Christ to the Chinese masses.

Edward Taylor’s passionate love for his family and humble submission to God are carefully woven into "Upon Wedlock, and Death of Children" by extensive utilization of metaphysical techniques. Instead of stating fact upon fact, metaphysical techniques analogize elementary vocabulary in nature and correlate these words to other familiar objects, concepts, feelings, or actions.

Joseph set his focus straight ahead on his purpose: to serve the Lord God with all his heart, mind, and strength.  He stuck to his work, shunned slothfulness, and became a mighty man of God.  No matter what the result would be, Joseph did what he knew was right in the sight of the Lord, and He blessed him.
